Procedure of a game examination from White Castle:

  1. Sending:
Game designers post their game ideas in form of a playable prototype to White Castle. If you want to have your sending examined with attention to Hasbro, please mark your parcel with the according keyword "Hasbro". (contact)
  2. Bank transfer of the handling fees:
Before the examination procedure of your game idea, administrative and return consignement charges have to be paid (charges). For the payment of the charges, the sender gets a receipt, a detailed market analysis and an extensive evaluation in form of a rating sheet (example rating sheet). If the charges are not paid, claims concerning the services and the returning of the documents will not be taken in consideration.
  3. Examination of a game idea:
We check and evaluate your game ideas (example rating sheet).
  4. Adoption of a game idea I:
White Castle offers a White Castle designer's contract to the designer whose game idea has been adopted (White Castle designer's contract). After conclusion of the designer's-agency's contract, the game idea may be improved by White Castle, if necessary. More than that, White Castle develops a realization concept for Hasbro. This increases the chance of an acceptance of the game in the corresponding publisher's program.
  5. Adoption of a game idea II:
In case the Hasbro also adopts the idea, White Castle assumes all necessary steps and negotiations with the publisher for the designer.
  6. Refusal I:
Game ideas which are adopted by White Castle but not by Hasbro, can be presented to further publishing companies by White Castle. If no other publishing company wants to publish the game idea 18 months after the refusal by our publisher partner, the agency's contract between White Castle and the designer can be terminated. (White Castle designer's contract)
  7. Refusal II:
Game ideas which have been refused by our publisher partner and/or White Castle are immediately sent back to the designer with a detailed description of the refusal's cause as well as suggestions for improvements (example for a rating sheet).
